Family Dentist Tree is a privately owned dental practice at 86 Wilson Street in Oakville, Ontario. For more than 45 years, Oakville families have trusted us with everything from a toddler's first checkup to full-arch dental implants. Our team brings general dentists, a fellowship-trained implant dentist, a certified Invisalign provider and a periodontist together under one roof, supported by in-house 3D imaging, a dedicated surgical suite and same-day crown technology.

Who We Are
We started as a neighbourhood family practice, and that is still how we think about the people we treat. Many of the families we see today first came to us a generation ago, and we now care for their children and grandchildren. What has changed is the setting. Our current studio was designed from the ground up for modern dentistry, with advanced sterilization systems, a surgical suite for implant and oral surgery cases, and fully digital records that let your dentist, hygienist and surgical team work from the same information.
Every dentist on our team is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the regulator that sets the standards of practice for dentists in the province, and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. Our clinical team includes fellowship-level implant training through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and periodontal care from a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dentists across the region also turn to our practice for training and mentorship, which keeps our own standards current.

What We Do
Most patients come to us for routine care and stay because almost everything else can be handled in the same office.
Regular checkups and cleanings are where most problems are caught while they are still small and simple to fix. Our general dentistry appointments include a thorough exam, digital X-rays when they are due, an oral cancer screening and a cleaning with Guided Biofilm Therapy, which uses warm water, air and a fine powder to lift plaque and stain without heavy scraping. We also provide tooth-coloured fillings, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment and custom night guards. Using CBCT 3D imaging and computer-guided implant surgery, we plan each implant in a virtual model of your jaw and then place it through a 3D-printed surgical guide. Treatment ranges from a single dental implant to All-on-4 implants that replace a full arch of teeth on four implants, as well as larger full mouth reconstruction cases. Our in-house oral surgery services include tooth extractions, bone grafting, biopsies and wisdom tooth removal. Being treated in a familiar office, by a team that already knows your health history, makes these procedures far less stressful for most people.
Dental anxiety is common, and it should never stop you from getting the care you need. Our sedation dentistry options include nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation, matched to the procedure and to how you feel on the day.

You should understand the cost of your care before treatment begins. Family Dentist Tree follows the current Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide, so our fees are consistent with provincial standards, and we always walk you through an estimate first.
We offer direct billing to most insurance companies, which means your plan pays its share directly and you only take care of the remaining balance. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) for eligible patients. If you would prefer to spread out the cost of larger treatment, payment plans are available. For larger treatment, we can send a predetermination to your insurer so you know what is covered before you start. Call us with your plan details and we will help you understand your coverage.
